
Tenancy Progressor
Job Title: Head of Tenancy
Location: Kensington Office, Harding Green
Working Hours:
· Monday to Friday: 8:45 am to 6:00 pm (with an hour for lunch)
· Possible to work from home 1-2 days a week
· Rotational half-day Fridays
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and oversee the tenancy progression function, ensuring compliance with all lettings legislation and AML regulations.
•Develop and implement streamlined processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
•Act as the main point of escalation for tenancy-related queries, compliance concerns, and operational challenges.
•Arrange and execute tenancy agreements, deposit registrations, inventories, check-ins, check-outs, renewals, and end-of-tenancy processes.
•Provide expert support and guidance to self-employed agents on tenancy and compliance matters.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lettings legislation and ensure the business remains compliant at all times.
•Mentor, develop, and manage tenancy progressors and future hires within the team.
•Build strong relationships with agents, landlords, and tenants, ensuring clear communication and high service standards.
•Collaborate with senior leadership to align tenancy operations with the wider strategic goals of Harding Green.
Requirements:
•ARLA Level 3 Qualification
•Significant experience in tenancy progression and lettings operations, ideally at management or leadership level.
•In-depth knowledge of lettings legislation, compliance, and best practice processes.
•Proven ability to lead a team, mentor junior staff, and foster a collaborative working culture.
•Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and remain composed under pressure.
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
•Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a track record of improving operational processes.
•A hard-working, driven, and professional attitude.
