Open in Google Maps

Famous for Lords Cricket Ground and the notorious Abbey Road album by the Beatles, St John’s Wood is a highly sought after residential area bordering London’s prestigious Regent’s Park.

St John’s Wood is populated with white stucco-fronted villas on attractive suburban avenues. Much of the district is a conservation area with St. John’s Wood Church Grounds containing the only nature reserve in the City of Westminster.

Avenue Road, famous for its imposing mansions, was the street with the UK’s most high value home sales in 2020. In early 2021, prices for a property on the street averaged over £30.5 million.

London Underground can be accessed via St John’s Wood station on the Jubilee line or Maida Vale, Warwick Avenue and Kilburn Park for the Bakerloo line. London Overground services are provided by South Hampstead station.
