Wandsworth, is a sought after residential borough of London situated on the south bank of the River Thames and takes its name from the River Wandle. The former wharf area of the river-front is now lined with new apartment blocks, with several bars and restaurants.

Underground rail services are from Clapham South (Northern Line), Southfields and East Putney (District Line). Thames Riverboat services are from both Riverside Quarter and Plantation Wharf piers.
