Southfields is a suburb of inner London located within the borough of Wandsworth. Until the late 19th century Southfields was still fields, situated between the more developed villages of Wimbledon and Putney. The main residential areas of Southfields are the Southfields Triangle and The Grid comprising Victorian and Edwardian houses.

Southfields tube station (Zone 3) is served by the Wimbledon branch of the District line, offering wider connections via Earl’s Court. Southfields is the main London Underground station used by Wimbledon Tennis spectators.
